Palisade Security Fencing

Palisade Fencing Provides medium to high security to industrial and commercial premises, as well as schools and other local amenities.

It can be supplied assembled in panels but is normally bundled for site assembly along with the necessary fixings and fasteners.

W SECTION PALISADE

The W Section creates a formidable deterrent to would be intruders. The strong metal fence and splayed “W” spike top pale is one of the best enforcements for protecting your land, work premises yard or property. Standard pales are 2mm thick and galvanised metal in W Section for extra support and defence.
Standard specification:
» W section Pales Rounded and Notched or Triple Pointed Top
» 102×44 or 100x55mm posts
» 50x50x6mm horizontal rails
» 8mm galvanised T- head bolt with permacone type nuts.

W Section Steel Palisade fencing is considered the most economically effective way to secure any industrial or commercial premises.

One major advantage of steel palisade is that it can follow the ground up to a 12% gradient so more adverse ground conditions are accommodated without the need for stepping.

Metal palisade fencing is delivered non-assembled, and is installed on site. Posts are set at 2.75m centres and either concreted into ground or bolted to a concrete base with a base plate holed four times by either resin anchoring or rawl bolting.

Rails are attached to posts with loose fishplate cleats that run through the post and then angle to the correct gradient before being bolted with M12 nuts and shear nuts which are non-reverable. Rails are then clad with verticals pales at 152mm centres with galvanised bolts and shed nuts that cannot be undone.

Our W-Section Palisade is a visually effective deterrent which is not easily climbed. For this reason it is the prefered perimiter fence for school fences, railways yard security and industrial premises.

W SECTION PALISADE

D Section Palisade

The original choice for Palisade security fencing is 3mm D section steel palisade pales. This always looks best when installed with the rounded and noticed as the notched tends to be obscured on the W section. However, with steel prices at record levels most people tend to purchase 2mm W section metal palisade.
For ultimate security 2.5mm W or 3.5 D Section Palisade is recommended. This specification of Palisade security fencing is the premier standard and used in high security environments.
